SilMach is a fabless MEMS company located in Besançon-TEMIS INNOVATION (F).
The company presently employs 10 engineers and has its own MEMS metrology laboratory.
SilMach engineers design and prototype MEMS solutions by themselves in EPFL's Center of MicroNanotechnology clean rooms - Lausanne (CH).
MEMS facilities provided to the company allow MEMS prototyping as well as die production from several units up to small/ medium series.
The company was born at the heart of Franche-Comté (F), a region with an old and strong tradition in watch-making and conventional microtechnology.
Accordingly, in addition to MEMS technology, SilMach engineers also master conventional tool-machining techniques.
SilMach know-how today allows the development of innovative MEMS-based products such as actuators and energy less sensors
designed through hybridization of various technologies.
